Uncovering an inky world of colours, elaborate patterns, and body artistry, the Milton Keynes Tattoo Convention is an annual showcase of high-fliers in the industry and a weekend of arty entertainment. Featured artists and studios will display their skills and equipment suppliers will demonstrate new bits and bobs, while guests nibble on tattoo themed cupcakes. As seminars and Q and A sessions merge with burlesque, snake charming, and fire breathing entertainment, visitors can munch on the hog roast, consider desired doodles, and indulge in a little foresight with a tarot reading.
If browsing the convention on Saturday, those with tickets to the after party are invited to the Kent’s Hill Park location to bump hips with the pros. The likes of DJ Slip Matt, Choice FM’s E-Plus, and Jason Jay will be bashing out house and drum and bass bangers, while live bands gracing the stage include Inertia, The ZipHeads, and Bang Bang Boogie. The conference centre doubles up as an exhibition space and dancefloor, and also sports a hefty amount of sleeping space for late night revellers, while outside, guests can also park up their chariots for free.
